ABOUT

Because of COVID-19 and the concern we have for the health and safety of participants, volunteers and staff, the 3.16 run will be virtual in 2021 and return to its vibrant community of in-person participants in 2022.

The 3:16 Run™ is quite unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before! The actual run is an untimed 3.16 mile fun run with on-course inspirational messages, biblical passages and the support of a community of believers.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

Christian and Gospel music will be pumping to rock your soul and energize your spirit and motivational signs along the course will encourage the participants, provoking smiles and strengthening faith.

But the events surrounding the run and the sense of fellowship, shared purpose and celebration of Christianity make the date a must to circle on your calendar. There will be a post-run celebration zone, music and a gathering of faith-based, like-minded individuals to share and showcase faith with a great time.

Participants can sign-up as an individual or as a member of a team.

A portion of all proceeds from the 3:16 Run/Wisconsin will be donated to Penfield Children’s Center. Penfield Children’s Center creates a positive start in life for infants and children, many of whom have developmental delays or disabilities, by providing early education, health services and family programming. As a leader in child development, Penfield  helps children with and without disabilities reach their full potential by providing early education, health and wellness services and family programs. Today, serving more than 1,500 children annually, Penfield offers high quality integrated services and a safe and stimulating environment for children, families and community partners to maximize early development and learning.

3:16 Run participants are encouraged to fund-raise for Penfield and prizes will be awarded to the largest fund raisers. All participants who raise a minimum of $100 will receive a complimentary registration.

(Though there is a significant charitable component to the 3:16 Run, the event’s organizer is a for-profit company.)
